We are kicking off Black History Month with a classic from the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin. She was the first woman inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1987) and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Attention all Pet Owners: The Big Game Board will now be a place for an “Our Pets Board!” Send in or bring in pictures of your pets to celebrate our connection with animals! Please include your pet's name, and any fun facts about them. Send pics to rachel.martin@ncsuvt.org and we'll put them on the board!

Today in Sports:
Over the weekend we had quite a few teams competing. Both JV and Varsity Boys Basketball fell to Lamoille, the Kingdom Blades came up short against Burlington/Colchester and Boys Ice Hockey lost a tough battle with Middlebury. Cullin Ward had first place finishes in shot put and weight throw at the St. Johnsbury indoor meet and we also had top 10 performances from Abigail Dunn in the shot put who took 6th and Landyn Machado placed 3rd in the shot put and 9th in the weight throw.
Today, Girls Basketball is on the road at Lyndon.
Have a great day, be kind to one another, and engage in your work.
