Good Morning Falcons!
Today is Tuesday, October 28th and it is an M day.
Reminder that this is a short week for students. Thursday is a half day for students with an early release at noon and Friday is a Conference Day, with no classes for students.
Trick or Treating at school this Thursday, 10/30, at 11:15.Teachers and staff will be spread around the school with buckets of candy. Students and staff are encouraged to dress up in costume to celebrate Halloween. However, if you are not able to get or make a costume, no worries! Everyone will get candy! Please make sure costumes follow the school dress code, do not include any full masks, do not have any weapons (fake or real), and no drug or alcohol themes.
Cell phones: Just another reminder that cell phones should not be out in the hallways during class times. The best way to avoid having your phone confiscated is to use the classroom storage system so that you only have access to your phone during passing periods and lunches. Please help us avoid the unpleasantness of having to confiscate phones that are out during classes.
Class Officers: Shout out to all of the students who are running for class officers! The campaigns have been run fairly and respectfully, and the posters are fun and creative. This is a great example of students working to benefit our school and their classmates, and whoever wins the elections, we appreciate everyone’s effort and willingness to step up to help others.
Attention Hunters: We are excited to bring back our ‘Big Game Board’ this year! Our Visual Arts students have been hard at work preparing the bulletin board to showcase your successful hunts. Please email Mr Pixley noel.pixley@ncsuvt.org or swing by with a photo that we can post to celebrate one of our outdoor traditions!
Attention Seniors: Yearbook senior photos are due November 14th. Yearbook baby photos are due November 21st for a guaranteed spot. Baby photos sent after November 21st are only if space is available. To get your order form, please go to the NCUHS Website and find "yearbook" under the "student" menu. If emailing photos, please send at the largest size possible to Brian.Mccrae@ncsuvt.org and Genevieve.Hamby@ncsuvt.org.
Have a great day, be kind to one another and engage in your work.
