Congratulations to Sloan Nelson, Eva Bury, and Reagan Kelly for being selected to attend the National 4-H Dairy Conference in Madison, Wisconsin as delegates representing the 4-H program for the state of Vermont. Delegates must exhibit several criteria before being selected. Including excelling at both the project area and participation in other activities, which include caring for, training, and working with his or her project animal, competing at local, county, regional and state levels in areas such as: community service and leadership. This is a great honor and we are so proud of our NEK students for being selected!
In FFA news, Sloane Nelson, Eva Bury, Emiley Fararr, and Peyton Fortin, tracked to the UVM research barns and participated in the VT state FFA Dairy Handling and Dairy Judging. Sloane was first place overall in Vermont for Handling, and Eva, Emily, and Peyton all earned second places in Judging. Congratulations girls!

On Tuesday, June 2nd, prepare to have your face melted off by TWO rock bands! These two classes of rock musicians will be performing some music by the Cranberries, Rush, Geese, Led Zeppelin, John Mellencamp and more! Come support these students in their last performance of the year. You'll be glad you did!

Yesterday afternoon Girls Tennis wrapped up their season with a tough road loss to Harwood. Congratulations on a great season! Our JV baseball and softball teams were at Thetford Academy and the boys lost 12-3 while the girls won big in their final game of the season, 30-15. Good luck this afternoon as JV Baseball hosts Lyndon Institute.
