Daily Announcement 12/8/25

Good morning Falcons.

Today is Monday, December 8th, and it is an M Day.

Our Student of the Week is Tasha Leonard. She gets a shout out from Ms. Gaines for how amazing she’s doing in art class. The project she just handed in was well done with so much thought and trial and error. Ms Gaines would like to thank you for being such an important part of class. You are a pleasure to teach.

Our Spotlight Student is Marisa Fortin for offering genuine kindness to a peer who was new to their art class. Marisa helped her feel included and comfortable in a new setting. She assisted in making sure the student had the materials she needed - there was also a substitute that day, and the new student had not yet been there to know how/where to access the art supplies necessary. Marisa made sure she had all she needed, and welcomed her to their table to work. She set the example of how we should treat one another.

And this week's Fantastic Falcon is Lina Mesko for her dedication to her German students and their learning.

Congratulations to all of this week’s recipients.

The Dance and Drama Winter Concert will be taking place on December 11th in the Auditorium.  The Drama one acts will showcase at 6pm and the Dance recital will take place immediately following at 7:30pm.  Please come support your classmates and see just what the dance and drama programs at North Country have to offer.

The National Honor Society is selling Little Caesars pizza kits and meal deal codes.  Please see a member of the Honor Society or see Ms. Berthiaume to place an order!

Students who have bags that they do not want to carry with them throughout the day need to see Tina for a locker.  Bags should not be left in offices or other classrooms while you are in classes.

Rotary Interact would like to announce that they are selling Jolly Grams for staff and students! This is a great way to send a friendly message and a small candy cane to your peers! The jolly grams are $1 each and will be delivered during POD on Monday, December 15th. Be sure to grab your jolly grams before then!

Today in sports,

Both boys and girls ice hockey will be dismissed at 1:45 today for a 2:00 departure.

And last but not least, a reminder to keep your cell phones off and away.  This includes the hallways during class times.  If we see a phone, we will take the phone!

Have a great day, be kind to one another and engage in your work.
