Good morning Falcons - today is May 5th and it is an M day.
Our Spotlight Students of the week: The HTAP group members: Kaitlyn Niles, Alexis Pauline, Kaylee Curtis, Camry Wright, and Allison Dobler who went above and beyond in raising money for human trafficking prevention and awareness for Umbrella in Newport and St. Johnsbury.
Ms. Erickson would like to recognize Melody MacFarlane for her outstanding achievements in honors English! Your excellent standing both academically and socially has not gone unnoticed. Your commitment to your studies is truly commendable; you never miss homework assignments and consistently engage actively during the learning process. Moreover, your politeness and respect towards your classmates and teacher create a positive environment for everyone. Your determination and perseverance when faced with challenging tasks or difficult concepts demonstrate a remarkable growth mindset. Keep up the fantastic work, Melody! Your hard work and dedication are truly inspiring.

In Sports from the weekend:
The Varsity Softball Team played a great all-around game but came up short, losing 6-4 at Enosburg. Lillie Tetreault went 2-4 with a home run and an RBI. Aubrey Jacobs went 2-3. Olivia Geoffroy had a deep single resulting in an RBI. Gaby Griffith had an amazing double play, and Ranid Fortin made multiple great plays at third base.
The Varsity Baseball Team came up short, losing to Enosburg 3-2. Ben West pitched a complete game with 9 Ks and allowed 3 runs (1 earned run) on 3 hits. Ben West went 2-3, Logan Cross, Kaden Jones, and Zak Fortin each had a hit.
JV Baseball defeated Enosburg Saturday 10 - 6. Preston Humphrey was the winning pitcher. Evan Batholon came in to pitch in relief. Trip Roberge hit 2 doubles and Brody Bingham and Jackson Kilburn each had 2 hits for the Falcons whose record now is 3 - 1.
