NCUHS Chromebook  User Agreement

The North Country Supervisory Union and member districts recognize that information technology (IT) is integral to learning and educating today’s children for success in the global community and fully supports the access of these electronic resources by students and staff.

North Country Union High School (NCUHS) encourages the use of Chromebooks/Laptops/Desktops and the Internet, as a tool for research and education. The school-owned devices and the district network, like any other school property, must be used for the educational purposes for which they are intended while being used at school.

NCUHS will provide a Chromebook to students in grades 9,10, and 11 for the 2018-2019 school year. The Chromebooks issued to students are the property of NCUHS. The distribution of a Chromebook to each student is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked at any time for inappropriate conduct during the school day or outside of school. Before a Chromebook will be issued for use at school or home, students and parents or guardians must read the NCSU G.11 Responsible Computer, Network and Internet Use policy and the NCUHS Chromebook Student User Agreement

Before a Chromebook will be issued for use at school and home, students and parents or guardians must complete the information available in the Annual Student Update. These forms must be completed each school year. The Chromebook with the charger will need to be returned to the tech department prior to summer vacation.
