Good Morning Falcons!

Today is Wednesday, October 8th and it is a B day.

One more day until we welcome Mirna Valerio, aka the Mirnavator, to our school. Mirna will talk to us about setting goals, and how we can help you all live our motto of Achievement Through Perseverance! Thank you all in advance for being amazing audiences!

Reminder: Tomorrow is an early release day for students. Buses will depart at noon.

There is no school for students on Friday. This is a professional learning day for teachers.

There is no school on Monday, in recognition of Indigenous People’s Day.

The Visual Arts is taking kids to Stowe next Friday, October 17th for arts immersive guided educational tours of the outdoor sculpture in the Exposed Exhibit and a walk and talk at The Current Gallery. Students will have lunch on the green and return back to school for the NCUHS Maniatty Pep Rally! See Ms. G in Room 417 for a permission slip- this trip is FREE for all NCUHS students, FCFS to the first 30 permission slips signed and returned. We will meet in TOWN SQUARE prior to our departure at 8:15a. 

NCCC SkillsUSA is excited to bring back the Clothing Drop and Shop on October 24-25.  We are looking for students interested in volunteering their time.  If you would like to learn more or sign up to help, please stop in room 402 and see Mrs. Santaw or email heidi.santaw@ncsuvt.org.

Cell Phone Reminder - Just a quick reminder to all students and parents that the phone in the main office is available for students to use during the school day. We continue to have to confiscate phones when students are using them in hallways during class time, and would love to bring that number down as much as possible. Thank you for your help and cooperation. 

Attention Seniors: An email went out to all seniors regarding cap & gown for graduation.

Please make sure to fill out the form that was attached.

Ms. Bowen, Graduation Coordinator,  will compile the information and send it to Balfour to order the caps and  gowns. Please respond by Friday October 31st.

In Sports:

Girls Soccer came away with road wins against Lamoille yesterday.  At the end of regulation Varsity held on to a 1-0 win and JV finished 2-0.  

Knight Mosher finished 33rd in the Division 1 Boys Golf State Championships.

Today,  Boys Soccer hosts Harwood at 4pm on Jose Batista Field.
