To all student-athletes and their parents: The sports participation packet will be updated this summer. Please do NOT fill out the packet (hard copy or online) until it has been updated or it will not be valid. You will still be able to have your doctor fill out the well child exam form but the rest of the packet will not be valid until it is updated. Please look to our school website, facebook page, athletic twitter account, and/or fall head coaches on when the forms have been updated and are ready to be filled out and filed with our Athletic Trainer, Chelsea Bohannon.

Athletic Philosophy

North Country Union High School recognizes the value athletic (co-curricular) activities play in the total development of a student's education. Athletics (co-curricular activities) is/are an extension of the education process. Students learn from their participation in interscholastic athletics. Lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, competition, and how to win and lose gracefully are an integral part of each team in our athletic program. Athletics play an important role in helping the individual student develop a healthy self-concept as well as a healthy body. Athletic competition adds to our school spirit, provides enjoyment and fun, and helps all students, spectators and participants develop pride and unity in their school and community.
